Your Portal
Your portal lives at portal.samoya.com. This is your private project hub where everything lives: tasks, files, deliverables, call summaries, and feedback.
Getting in
An invite link is sent by email at kickoff. Click it, create your account, and you're in. If the invite doesn't show up, check spam or reach out and we'll resend it.
What you'll see
Your portal is organized as a project board with columns. Each task moves through these stages:
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| To Do | Queued up, not started yet |
| In Progress | Actively being worked on |
| Needs Review | Ready for your feedback. This means it's your turn. |
| Complete | Done and delivered |
Finding your files
Every deliverable gets uploaded to your portal. Files are organized into folders:
- Brand Assets for logos, favicon, OG images, and hero images
- Strategy for messaging frameworks, positioning docs, and guides
- Additional folders are created as the project grows
Files are also attached directly to the relevant task, so you can always find a deliverable by opening the task it came from.
Leaving feedback
The best way to give feedback is to comment directly on the task in the portal. This keeps everything in one place and prevents things from getting lost in text threads or email.
What good feedback looks like
- Specific. "Change the hero headline to say X" instead of "I don't love the headline"
- Actionable. Something that can be acted on immediately
- Consolidated. One comment with all your notes, not 10 separate messages
Where to leave it
- Design feedback: Comment on the task, reference specific sections or include screenshots
- Copy feedback: Quote the exact text and suggest the replacement
- General feedback: Comment on the task, or send a message if it's not tied to a specific deliverable
Call summaries
After every call, a summary is posted to your portal. It covers what was discussed, decisions made, and your action items. You can scroll back through these to see the full trajectory of the project.
Notifications
The portal sends email notifications when tasks are assigned to you or when updates are posted. If notifications aren't coming through, check your spam folder.
