What Happens After You Sign
Welcome to Samoya. Here's how the process works and what to expect along the way.
The process
- Deposit and scheduling. Once payment is received, you'll get a link to schedule your kickoff call.
- Onboarding questionnaire. A short form arrives by email. Fill it out before the kickoff so we can show up already understanding your business. Be thorough. The more context provided, the better the output.
- Kickoff call. A deep dive into your business, your buyers, and what needs to be built.
- Architecture and approval. The full plan is mapped out and shared for approval before anything gets built.
- Build phase. Work begins. You'll see progress through updates and tasks moving in your portal.
- Review. Deliverables appear in your portal under "Needs Review." You review, give feedback, and revisions are made.
- Delivery. A walkthrough of everything that was built, plus training on any systems.
- Go live. Everything is deployed and running.
- Transition to ongoing. A monthly plan is selected to keep things monitored, maintained, and improving.
What's expected of you
A few things keep the project on track:
- Fill out the questionnaire thoroughly. This is the foundation for everything that gets built.
- Respond to review requests promptly. When something is in "Needs Review" in your portal, it's waiting on you.
- Be specific with feedback. "Change the headline to say X" is actionable. "I don't love it" isn't.
- Consolidate feedback. One detailed comment is better than 10 separate messages.
- Ask questions. If something doesn't make sense, say so.
The fastest way to get great work: Fill out the questionnaire completely, respond to review requests promptly, and leave detailed comments in the portal instead of scattered across text and email.
What happens if things stall
If a project goes quiet for an extended period, it may be paused. The specific terms are in your service agreement. If you need to pause or adjust the timeline, just communicate that and we'll work it out.
